Following the great success of Dechirer design by Patricia Urquiola, an addition to the collection has been developped: the XL format. The Decor version is now re-proposed in the size 100 x 300 cm, allowing the patterns to extend over a continuous surface. Available in the lowest possible thickness (3 mm with fibre), and in a very lightweight slab (around 25 kg), this format is perfectly suitable for use on internal and external vertical surfaces.
It is made entirely from an unglazed porcelain stoneware body and available in three shades: gesso, grafite and avana. Déchirer XL is made from pure ceramic body, which is then pressed in a latest generation machine that makes it possible to create textured surfaces even on large slabs, keeping the details of the bas-relief decorations perfectly well defined. The product is sold with rectified edges to allow a minimal joint.
